Das Geb\u00e4ude widerstand der Salzluft, den St\u00fcrmen und riesigen Wellen, die sich \u00fcber die Insel ergossen. Es bildetet auch die Kulisse f\u00fcr meine ersten Begegnungen-von vielen-mit den Kr\u00e4ften,Gefahren und Geschenken des Meeres wie fantastische Sonnenunterg\u00e4nge. Viel davon wurde in der TV-Serie <em>Deadliest Catch<\/em> gezeigt. Wie f\u00fcr meine Vorfahren ist die Fischerei auch zu meiner Lebensaufgabe geworden.      <\/p>\n<p>F\u00fcr mich ist Mortholmen ein Teil meiner Geschichte. Noch wichtiger aber ist, dass es ein einzigartiges St\u00fcck norwegischer Fischereigeschichte darstellt. Das Geb\u00e4ude ist mein Herzensprojekt geworden. Als Norwegens einzige erhaltene Heringssalzerei bietet Mortholmen einen einzigartigen, authentischen Einblick in unsere gemeinsame Vergangenheit. <\/p>\n<p>Die Salzerei war seinerzeit einer der gr\u00f6\u00dften Arbeitgeber f\u00fcr Karm\u00f8y und Umgebung und exportierte Fisch in ganz Norwegen und Europa.
